  SPECIAL PRAYER SERVICE FOR CLASS X & PTA MEETING: - ON 27 TH NOV 2021 The Prayer Service was organized by our school Principal Sr. Manisha for class X students on 24 th November. The Programme started at 11.00 am with a short prayer, then a welcome speech and introduction was given by Ms. Sweta. The Prayer song was sung by teachers and prayer for the students was given by Ms. Cecelia, Then Prayer for Principal, Parents, Teachers and Non – teaching, Council board given was by Ms. Sweta. Then blessings to the students and writing materials were given by Rev. Fr. Pradeep Kishore Minz. He gave a motivational speech to the students. After then rules and regulations are explained by Mr. Deepak. Feedback on Mock I, Mock II and Pre – Semester exam is given by Ms. Jayanti. Miss Chayra gave some tips for the improvement of exam. The results of the pre – semester exam was declared and admit card was distributed to the students. Then a vote of thanks was given by Ms. Sweta. 

DUSSHERA CELEBRATION

  DUSSHERA CELEBRATION To set a perfect example of secularism, we decide to celebrate all the festivals in our school.  On 10 th October, 2021 the Carmel School had organized special assembly on the celebration of Dusshera festival in order to know the importance of the festival. Class IX students presented in a drama form with beautiful costumes the story of Dusshera. All enjoyed the performance and left for the holidays with joy and enthusiasm.

DEEPAWALI CELEBRATION

  DEEPAWALI CELEBRATION The much-awaited festival of light was celebrated by the Carmel school students. Diwali, also known as Deepawali, is celebrated across India with great enthusiasm as it symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Class VIII students performed a special assembly on the theme of the festival in a dance and drama form. It was a wonderful presentation in traditional attire and brought lots of joy and festive spirit in the school.

GANDHI- JAYANTI VALUE WEEK CELEBRATION

  GANDHI- JAYANTI VALUE WEEK CELEBRATION Carmel school had organised special assembly for a week to honour Mahatma Gandhi and impart his values in students and their day-to-day living. Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated every year on October 2 to honour the legendary leader, Mahatma Gandhi without whom, India wouldn't have been free from the clutches of the Britishers. His non-violent ways united millions of people to follow the path of 'Ahimsa' and protest against the evil oppression. Gandhi Jayanti is a special occasion for all of us to rededicate ourselves to the values of truth, non-violence, harmony, morality and simplicity. Satya, Ahimsa and Sarvodaya formed the bedrock of Mahatma Gandhi’s numerous messages to humanity. Mahatma Gandhi was respected as a global icon across continents for his great values. TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION ON 5TH SEPTEMBER, 2021

  TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION ON 5 TH SEPTEMBER, 2021 We celebrate Teachers’ day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan second President of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day. The cultural programme was hosted by the students. In the end, the audience was addressed by Principal where she appreciated the efforts done by the students to celebrate Teacher’s Day and making the teachers feels special by showing their respect and love towards their teachers. She also expressed words of gratitude to all the teachers for their selfless service.  

16TH JULY, 2021 FOUNDATION DAY AND SCHOOL FEAST DAY CELEBRATION

16 th JULY, 2021 FOUNDATION DAY AND SCHOOL FEAST DAY CELEBRATION The Feast day and Foundation day of our school was celebrated on 16 th July 2021. On this day we honour Mother of Carmel for her patronage, guidance, protection and loving care for all. We had Eucharistic celebration which was preceded by Fr. Premchand Tirkey in the auditorium hall along with staff and few catholic students. There after the small cultural programme was organized by the teachers and students. They did felicitation of all the sisters on the feast and presented flower plants to each of them as a token of love. The celebration concluded by a happy note wishing everyone happy feast and distributed sweets to all.

FUN - FILLED WEEK WITH ALL COMPETITIONS

  FUN - FILLED WEEK WITH ALL COMPETITIONS Competition makes kids better. The skills that children learn through competitive games are self-discipline, goal achieving, Self-confidence, motivation etc. Before winter holidays Carmel School organized various competitions like... balloon breaking, pebble counting race, floor & coin, Lemon & spoon, 100 mtr Race, 200 mtr race, Greeting card, Fancy dress, Mimicry for KG kids... The Chief Guest distributed the prizes to the winners on the final day.
