Students and Parents Seminar on 1st Oct 2019

STUDENTS  SEMINAR  A one – day seminar on Life Skills by Fr.Thomas, a motivational speaker was organised for the students of classes VI to X on 1st Oct 2019. The programme began with lighting of lamps by the teachers and Head Boy/ Head Girl. The motto of the session was to make them aware about the how to to face challenges in studies . During the session emphasis was laid on how to cultivate moral values in children and how to get them prepared for the turmoil's and turbulences of life.  PARENTS SEMINAR  A well- organized, informative and thought provoking seminar for parents was held on 1st Oct in school auditorium under the guidance of the Principal Sr. Manisha. The Seminar began with a devotional prayer dance followed by the introduction of the Resource Person Fr. Thomas. Kabaddi Tournament on 30th Sept 2019

KABADDI TOURNAMENT  Kabaddi is a sport which is unique to India and a great way for our students to connect with Indian culture. In order to make a fruitful and enriching experience for students, a Inter- House Kabaddi Tournament (Boys & Girls) was organized on 30th Sept in the school campus under the guidance of P.T Teacher Mr. Ravikant. All the participating team members displayed excellent sportsman spirit during the conduct of the tournament. But it was the Blue House (Girls) & Red House (Boys) that opposed all odds and seized the trophy. It was quite thrilling and a pleasure to watch for all of the audience as well as the judges.

SUPW for Class IX & X on 30th Sept 2019

SUPW for Class IX & X SUPW is an integral part of school curriculum. On 30th Sept SUPW on cookery for Class IX and X was organized to showcase the knowledge and potential. 12 teams of four students had 2 hours to prepare their recipes before a room full of judges and teachers. Each completed dish put a smile on the judges’ faces but only three teams could win. It was really amazing to see how they came up with interesting recipe ideas. Students enjoyed the competition because they get a lot of exposure to what cooking is like. Some kids help their moms cook and some kids never go into the kitchen, but this helped them at least try things. As a result, students got a wonderful experience putting their hands on it.

Teacher's Day Celebration on 5th Sept 2019

T eacher’s Day 2019 Date: 5 th  Sept 2019 Venue:  School Auditorium Time:  7.45 am to 12 pm Teachers Day was celebrated in the school on September 5, 2019 and the celebration began at 8 am in the morning in the school auditorium. In this auspicious occasion Plantation programme was conducted by EVS Club. Teachers and Class X students shared wonderful moments while planting. The teachers were then traditionally welcomed to the hall. The program was lead off with a prayer dance, followed by an inauguration where the school Principal Sr. Manisha Vaghela, along with teachers offered flowers to a portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and lighted the lamp. This was followed by an welcome speech about the significance of Teachers Day. G.K QUIZ COMPETITION 2019 -2020 Date: 31 st Aug 2019 Venue: School Auditorium Time: 7.45 am to 12 pm The quest for knowledge, like everything else of value, is not to be obtained easily. It must be worked for, studied for, thought for, and more than that must be prayed for. To encourage the students to widen their knowledge our school had organized Inter House Quiz Competition on 31 st Aug. The G.K Quiz Competition was being organized under the guidance of School Principal Sr. Manisha & Committee Members. The quiz masters were Mr. Ignatius, Ms. Supriya, Ms Cecilia and Ms. Serophina. Two groups were divided Junior (Class I to V), Senior (Class VI to X). Five students of each house participated in the competition. The first round was a rapid fire round. Dance Competition Date:-   13 th Aug 2019 Venue:-   School Auditorium With the aim of honing the dancing skills of the students and to instill in students the feeling of patriotism, love and respect towards other culture, an Inter Class Dance Competition was organized for students of classes I to VIII with the theme of Patriotic and Folk Songs. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances. The fun filled extravaganza offered folk, traditional and patriotic performances. All the participants were very energetic and performed their dance forms enthusiastically. They dressed beautifully according to the state and their culture. Independence Day Celebration on 15th Aug 2019

Independence Day Celebration Date: 15 th Aug 2019 Venue: School Auditorium Our school also celebrates this national festival every year. For this year, we had made all the preparations. In the morning Band Group of our school marched out and welcomed the Chief Guest Captain Walter Ekka . He hoisted the national flag on the school building sharp at 8:30 am. All the students and teachers saluted the flag and then sang the National Anthem. He then delivered a speech in which he shared his past life experiences. Then followed the Cultural Programme where Patriotic dance and Songs were showcased by the students. At the end, Sr. Manisha Vaghela, the Principal delivered the short speech about the supreme sacrifice the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of freedom. She also said that the freedom was very precious and it was very necessary to preserve it.
