STUDENTS  SEMINAR 

A one – day seminar on Life Skills by Fr.Thomas, a motivational speaker was organised for the students of classes VI to X on 1st Oct 2019. The programme began with lighting of lamps by the teachers and Head Boy/ Head Girl. The motto of the session was to make them aware about the how to to face challenges in studies . During the session emphasis was laid on how to cultivate moral values in children and how to get them prepared for the turmoil's and turbulences of life.

 PARENTS SEMINAR 

A well- organized, informative and thought provoking seminar for parents was held on 1st Oct in school auditorium under the guidance of the Principal Sr. Manisha. The Seminar began with a devotional prayer dance followed by the introduction of the Resource Person Fr. Thomas. He gave ideas about how to understand their children and strengthen their bond with them. Fr. Thomas acquainted the parents with the scholastic changes and board examination of Class X. He also demonstrated its concern about the needs of children and their parents. The queries of parents were also answered by our teachers. Ms. Elisaba and Mrs. Cecilia shared with them important points  on school rules. The session was excellent in the way that it portrayed and brought together the perspectives of parents and children have at different stages in their lives. Parents who attended the seminar expressed a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure from the information and exposure to other parents. Most parents felt there was real need for these kind of seminar. The seminar ended in a most appropriate way with the discussion of parents and teachers and ideas for the future.

children’s day cum fun- fair Date: 15 th Nov 2019 Venue: School campus Children’s day in our School was celebrated in a unique way on 15 th Nov. A Fun Fair and Exhibition was organized by the Principal, Sr Manisha. The Programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song followed by ribbon cutting by our little Nursery students accompanied by Head Boy/Girl and Vice Head Boy/Girl. The Principal while opening the event said that it’s because of the children that we are here and they are the purpose for all the activities that take place in the school. The Fun Fair included Exhibition on Science working models, showcasing SUPW projects and putting up stalls of games and eatables. The exhibition was alive with numerous people walking leisurely watching the creativity put in it. K.G Section displayed elegantly different types of houses, dolls, crafts with waste materials etc. On this occasion children from government schools were invited and given free pass.

  NEWS OF CARMEL SCHOOL BRAMBE RANCHI CISCE ZONAL ATHLETICS AND GAMES On 10 th and 11 th August CISCE Zonal Athletics organised by St. Xavier’s school Doranda, Ranchi at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Khelgaon. There were 29 students participated from our school. The players of Carmel school won 2 medals, one silver and bronze with excellent performance. Around 1000 players from 30 schools all over Ranchi Zone participated in this competition. The   total   number 29 players from Carmel school had gone under the leadership and guidance of teachers, Sir Anant the PT teacher, Sir Ankit, Ms.Rosalia , Sr. Rose and   Sr. Sushila. The winners, Surender Tirkey won Bronze medal in 1500 meters junior category and Nikhil Oraon in 800 meters senior category. The Constant guidance of the Principal Sr. Manisha and hard work of the teachers is praise worthy.   SPECIAL PRAYER SERVICE FOR CLASS X & PTA MEETING: - ON 27 TH NOV 2021 The Prayer Service was organized by our school Principal Sr. Manisha for class X students on 24 th November. The Programme started at 11.00 am with a short prayer, then a welcome speech and introduction was given by Ms. Sweta. The Prayer song was sung by teachers and prayer for the students was given by Ms. Cecelia, Then Prayer for Principal, Parents, Teachers and Non – teaching, Council board given was by Ms. Sweta. Then blessings to the students and writing materials were given by Rev. Fr. Pradeep Kishore Minz. He gave a motivational speech to the students. After then rules and regulations are explained by Mr. Deepak. Feedback on Mock I, Mock II and Pre – Semester exam is given by Ms. Jayanti. Miss Chayra gave some tips for the improvement of exam. The results of the pre – semester exam was declared and admit card was distributed to the students. Then a vote of thanks was given by Ms. Sweta.
