CISCE ZONAL
ATHLETICS AND GAMES
On 10th
and 11th August CISCE Zonal Athletics organised by St. Xavier’s
school Doranda, Ranchi at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Khelgaon. There were
29 students participated from our school. The players of Carmel school won 2
medals, one silver and bronze with excellent performance. Around 1000 players
from 30 schools all over Ranchi Zone participated in this competition. The total number 29 players from Carmel school had gone
under the leadership and guidance of teachers, Sir Anant the PT teacher, Sir
Ankit, Ms.Rosalia , Sr. Rose and Sr. Sushila.
The winners,
Surender Tirkey won Bronze medal in 1500 meters junior category and Nikhil Oraon
in 800 meters senior category. The Constant guidance of the Principal Sr.
Manisha and hard work of the teachers is praise worthy. The staff and
management congratulated the winners.
HEALTH
EDUCATION SESSION
On 22nd of August 2023 the health education session was organized by
our school principal Sr.Manisha for VI to X students which was conducted by
constant Livens hospital staff and GNM students of Mandar. Sr. Manisha gave a welcome
and introduction to them.
In this
workshop through drama and presentation they brought awareness to the students
about the health and hygiene, balance diet and various diseases their effects
and causes and their remedies, and also the problems and challenges of
adolescent and teenage were presented through enactment and chart. The session was very informative and brought
awareness among the students which is most important in their life.
The session
ended with words of gratitude by Sr. Roslin. Thanks to the principal for taking
initiative to organize such sessions which are helpful to the students.
PATRIOTIC SINGING
INTERHOUSE COMPETITION
“Music gives
wings to the heart and take it to the world of joy.”
The student
of Carmel School Brambe, Ranchi indeed know how to fly.
On 9th
of august 2023 there was an Inter house group singing competition organised by
Science club. The competition was held
at Carmel School Auditorium hall. There were two categories, junior group was
from IV to VI and senior group was VII to IX, both the group performed with
much enthusiasm, creativity and beautiful attire on the theme of patriotism.
The result -
From the junior group Red house was the first winner and from the senior group
Blue house the winner.
They did take us to a world where music was a
language. Their innocent voice touched the hearts of all of us.
FOLK DANCE INTER
HOUSE COMPETITION
“Dance is the
conversation of the body with the soul.”
The Inter house folk dance competition was
organised by cultural and language club on 11th August 2023 at
Carmel school Brambe with the theme Flock dance. The competitions were held in
two group: - Senior and junior group. All the participant of various group
dressed in enticing traditional folk attires.

It was a great
joy of watching the children who brought out their hidden talents with great
courage and enthusiasm.
INITIATION OF
SCOUT AND GUIDE
The School
had taken initiative to start the Scout and Guide to imbibe in the students the
sense of discipline and patriotism. Class VI to VIII were asked to register
themselves to Scout and guide. The team of Association came from Ranchi for 5
days training. It was wonderful to see our students learning new things of
Scout and Guide.
On 11th
August convocation day was conducted by the association mainly by Mrs.Phulkeria
Ekka and Mr.Dilip who conducted the ceremony of scarf wearing and took pledge
for joining to the scout and guide.
INDEPENDENCE
DAY CELEBRATION
The 77th
Independence Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. The programme
began by escorting of the chief guest with school band. MRS. PHULKARIA EKKA was
the chief guest of the day and hoisted the National Flag. A stage was decorated
beautifully with tricolor balloons and flags.
The cultural
programme was presented by our students with beautiful attires. There after the prize distribution was done
for the students who performed well in zonal athletics and taekwondo.
The speech of
Chief guest was very inspiring which awakened our feeling towards Nation. The
student of class VIII also delivered powerful speech on Independence Day. The
celebration ended with school anthem and sweets were distributed to all present
for the celebration.
The principal
had organised football match with out side team with our players, it was very
enjoyable and interesting. The day ended with joy and happiness.
ALL INDIA
SWACHHA BHARAT ART COMPETITION
By National
Education and Human resource development organization.
On 23rd
of August 2023 for the first time All India Swachh Bharat Art competition was
organized by National education and human resources development organization.
There 226 students participated enthusiastically in various art competition.
The competitions were drawing and painting, essay writing, coloring, handwriting
and picture collage. Children brought out many surprises and creativity through
their imagination which they participated in this competition.
Under the
guidance of the coordinator Sr.Rose Ekka and subject teachers who assisted the
competition was successful, where in students enjoyed and participated with
enthusiasm.
TAEKWONDO
COMPETITION
The students
of Carmel school Brambe took part in the State level junior Taekwondo
competition at Dhanbad. It was organized by Jharkhand Taekwondo Association
under the aegis of Aparna Public School, Dhanbad. In the 23rd State
level Junior Taekwondo competition we got a total of 19 medals including 11
gold medals and 8 silver medals. There were 19 students participated from our
school all of them performed brilliantly.
Our School PT teacher Sir Anant who accompanied and
trained the students for this achievement, the Principal Sr. Manisha, sisters
and all the teachers congratulated and encouraged them.
