ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS

November - 2023

 

1.    ASISC RANCHI ZONAL LEVEL TEACHERS’ WORKSHOP

On 7th November Ranchi Zone had organized the

 

 

2.     VISIT TO GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS

“No one has ever become poor by giving others.” Ann Frank.

The science club was guided by our school principal to carry out the activity in the neighbouring government schools to help and teach them basics of life. Along with science club teachers, students and sisters went to teach and do learning activities for the poor children of the government schools.

We also conducted competitions and gave them prizes to encourage them to learn more. It was wonderful activity which made impact on the life of each of us. Thanks to the Principal Sr.Manisha  for the first time such activity being done in our school to imbibe in the students the values of generosity, kindness and sympathy for others and sharing with others all that we have.

 

 

3.    VISIT TO ASHA NGO

“Not for ourselves alone are we born.” Marcus Cicero.

Our school Principal had taken initiative to help poor and needy children of the society therefore on 10th November school Social club had organised the visit to ASHA NGO which works for the upliftment of the orphan children and women.

So, from our school 32 students and three teachers along with two sisters went to visit the NGO. It was wonderful experience to see the activities of the NGO who works for the children and women. There are 70 orphan children but we met them few of them as they had gone to the school. There 10 staff members who takes care of the NGO activities its really very inspiring to everyone who visit. We did small programme for them to share our love for them. we also gave contribution from our school as our students had collected money, clothes and snacks were distributed to them.

We are grateful to the Principal and management for such a wonderful Helping hands activity made difference in our lives. 

 

4.    CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

“Children are the hope for a brighter tomorrow in our lives.”

We celebrated children’s day on 11th of November. Our teachers gave a small program for the students thereafter prizes and certificates were distributed for the all the winners of the various competitions that were held throughout the year. Finally they watched the motivational movie after that they were given sweets. 

 

5.    KG SECTION PICNIC AT RATU CHILDREN’S PARK

 

 

6.    RANGOLI INTER-HOUSE COMPETITION

The Art club had organized the Rangoli competition on 10 of November at Carmel school. It was divided into 4 groups both senior and junior. Children participated with enthusiasm and brought out their talents. In junior section red house and senior section blue house were the winners.

children’s day cum fun- fair Date: 15 th Nov 2019 Venue: School campus Children’s day in our School was celebrated in a unique way on 15 th Nov. A Fun Fair and Exhibition was organized by the Principal, Sr Manisha. The Programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song followed by ribbon cutting by our little Nursery students accompanied by Head Boy/Girl and Vice Head Boy/Girl. The Principal while opening the event said that it’s because of the children that we are here and they are the purpose for all the activities that take place in the school. The Fun Fair included Exhibition on Science working models, showcasing SUPW projects and putting up stalls of games and eatables. The exhibition was alive with numerous people walking leisurely watching the creativity put in it. K.G Section displayed elegantly different types of houses, dolls, crafts with waste materials etc. On this occasion children from government schools were invited and given free pass.

  NEWS OF CARMEL SCHOOL BRAMBE RANCHI CISCE ZONAL ATHLETICS AND GAMES On 10 th and 11 th August CISCE Zonal Athletics organised by St. Xavier’s school Doranda, Ranchi at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Khelgaon. There were 29 students participated from our school. The players of Carmel school won 2 medals, one silver and bronze with excellent performance. Around 1000 players from 30 schools all over Ranchi Zone participated in this competition. The   total   number 29 players from Carmel school had gone under the leadership and guidance of teachers, Sir Anant the PT teacher, Sir Ankit, Ms.Rosalia , Sr. Rose and   Sr. Sushila. The winners, Surender Tirkey won Bronze medal in 1500 meters junior category and Nikhil Oraon in 800 meters senior category. The Constant guidance of the Principal Sr. Manisha and hard work of the teachers is praise worthy. October Activity Report, 2023

  Activities & Events of Ranchi October – 2023   Krusveer Rally On 1 st of October Catechism children of Brambe Parish participated in Krusveer rally at Mander Parish. The theme of this Rally was “You are the light of the world”. There were speech and skit competition on this theme. They performed very well and got 2 nd in skit and 3 rd place in speech competition. Thanks to Sr. Rose Gulab the in-charge of Catechism children.      “Be the change you want to see in the world” said by Mahatma Gandhi, so we the Carmel School made small efforts for our students.   From 2 nd to 7 th October had been dedicated as Gandhian week. The objective of this activity was to instill in the students the values of Mahatma Gandhi. Special assemblies were conducted by class III to V students, based on the theme of Gandhian Values.   “ Great deeds are never forgotten even after the death.” On 10 th October school Christian students went for funeral procession of Cardinal Telesphore
